From the Drilling Template to the Temporary Restoration

The temporary restoration of single-tooth gaps in the esthetically demanding anterior region represents a major challenge to the dentist and his/her team. The possibility of restoring single-tooth gaps after implantation is discussed in this paper, and we describe how a computermilled drilling template made of composite can be converted with simple means into an esthetically attractive adhesive bridge.

Die provisorische Versorgung von Einzelzahnlücken im ästhetisch anspruchsvollen Frontzahnbereich stellt eine große Herausforderung für den Zahnarzt und sein Team dar. In diesem Beitrag soll die Möglichkeit der Versorgung von Einzelzahnlücken nach Implantation besprochen werden, und dargestellt, wie mit einfachen Hilfsmitteln eine computergefräste Bohrschablone aus Kunststoff zu einer ästhetisch ansprechenden Klebebrücke umgebaut werden kann.
